Step aboard for a journey through time with the Alfred H. Baumann Free Public Library’s Historic Woodland Park: A Trolley Tour Through Time!

Celebrate Woodland Park’s rich and vibrant past as this unique event brings history to life through narrated trolley tours, engaging historical performances, and interactive, hands-on activities for all ages. We will start our journey at Dowling Gardens, then discover the stories behind local landmarks—from Revolutionary War encampments to 19th-century farms, mills, and the Morris Canal—while visiting notable sites like Beckes Farm, the Jewish Cemetery, and Idlewild Park.
