Khan Academy's platform includes loads of interactive exercises, videos and articles that cover a range of subjects. Khan Academy Kids is for children ages 2 to 7.

Ideal for kids up to age 6. Encantos has a selection of free educational content that's created by real teachers. Take a virtual geography lesson via Tiny Travelers or explore the bilingual preschool resources so your little one can learn both English and Spanish.

Tinkergarten has launched Tinkergarten at Home, to get parents outside and learning with their kids. Sign-up (it's free) to get access to weekly Tinkergarten activities, parenting insights, and live online sessions with other parents.

If Not You, Who? is a free kindergarten readiness website that shares fun, simple and hands-on activities to do with children ages 3-6 to help prepare them for kindergarten and life.

Dictionary.com's Learning at Home Center provides English language lessons. All material has been created or approved by teachers, and includes spelling, grammar and word challenges.

This movement was developed by Penguin Random House in partnership with Parents magazine, celebrating the importance and power of the shared reading experience between an adult and a child.

Elementary

From fiction to non-fiction, STEM books to graphic novels, book publishers have created a wealth of content to support educators, librarians, booksellers, parents, and caregivers. 

Scholastic's learn-at-home platform is offering free online resources during the crisis, including 20 days of lessons for grades pre-K to 9 and up to three hours of lessons a day.

The nonprofit First Book is providing activities in English and Spanish for pre-K through eighth grade.

Chrome Music Lab is a website that makes learning music more accessible through fun, hands-on experiments.

The educational arts nonprofit Children Mending Hearts has created “I Choose Empathy,” a free resource for those who have pledged to make their lives more empathetic.

JumpStart Academy Math is an award-winning online individualized math program that provides parents with engaging Kindergarten through 6th grade activities for their children. 

CK-12 Foundation provides a library of free online textbooks, videos, exercises, flashcards, and real world applications for over 5000 concepts.

GoNoodle® engages 14 million kids every month with movement and mindfulness videos created by child development experts. Available for free at school, home, and everywhere kids are!

Code.org® is a nonprofit dedicated to expanding access to computer science in schools and increasing participation by women and underrepresented youth.

MathScienceMusic.org is a free toolkit for teachers and parents, bringing together the best resources in math, science and music.

Middle School

This is a tutorial from Common Sense Media on how to use Google Classroom, which has become a fundamental platform for parents who are now tasked with teaching their children from home.

NoRedInk is a resource for online writing and grammar practice for grades 5-12. NoRedInk builds stronger writers through interest-based curriculum, adaptive exercises, and actionable data.

Hippocampus.org is a free, core academic web site that delivers videos, animations, and simulations on general education subjects to middle-school and high-school teachers and their students, free of charge.

Siemens provides free interactive engineering games that help secondary learners explore the world of STEM!

BrainPop offers in-depth learning on topics across the curriculum for upper elementary and middle school students. Each topic includes videos, quizzes, related reading, and even coding activities.

Smithsonian Learning Lab is your destination for millions of carefully curated, easily accessible, customizable, and shareable open educational resources.

Roblox offers free resources to teach students of all ages real coding, game design, digital civility, and entrepreneurial skills.

Project Exchange runs a 12-week online cultural exchange program to help middle school students  around the world broaden their worldview and practice English skills.

 Big History Project is a free, online social studies course that emphasizes skill development as students draw mind-blowing connections between past, present and future.

Amazon Future Engineer offers free online computer classes for any student or teacher affected by COVID-19 in the U.S.
